Half of my ebay auction listings are bouncing with the following error code given: Error 17208: Finance offer not available.
Finance offer is either not available or has been ended.
I am dealing with Nathan in customer service via email now for 3 weeks who says it's an ebay issue and so far all I get is "our engineers are looking in to it" ----- HELP!
We did find a workaround for you, and will also be able to help you correct all effected items shortly.
To manually work around this issue, edit the effected item in inventory.
Go to the 'Payment and Shipping' tab and edit the payment options. You don't have to change anything, just click ok.
Next, go to the Site Specifics tab and click to edit the checkout details.
Again you dont have to change anything, just click ok.
Now save the inventory item, and relist. The item should then post without any errors.
The engineering team is working on a script to patch all the rest of your items for you, and we'll let you know when this is completed. The issue related to some of your items that were setup initially with a buyer finance preference that didn't exist any longer. You would need to either manually edit all of the items as mentioned above, or wait for our engineering team to patch these items for you.
