Vendio does not provide enough HTML storage space to create a detailed listing.
To reduce the storage size of my listings, I have:
1) Moved all possible HTML code into the Custom Listing Text section.
2) Altered the "look & feel" I spent years developing, to reduce the HTML size.
3) Converted text to graphics to reduce the HTML size.
4) Moved text and graphics to another website, then replaced them in my listings with links that open new browser windows.
5) Left out product information I want to include.
The results are:
1) Listings are extremely difficult to create or modify.
2) It is impossible to place product information and business terms in a logical order.
3) It is impossible to control the "look & feel" of listings.
4) Addition HTML space must be rented from another service provider.
) Each listing requires multiple HTML files and multiple text-converted-to-graphics files, some hosted on Vendio and the rest hosted on another website.
5) To view complete product information, buyers have to click on multiple links and open/close multiple windows.
The solution is easy and inexpensive:
1) Vendio MUST increase the database field sizes for listings and for Custom Listing Text.
2) No modifications to the GUI would be required.
3) Increased hard drive space required, if any, would probably cost Vendio less than $1.00 per customer, one time.
