Will I be able to create two different listings, each with different descriptions for the same item using SMIE? If so, will I encounter any problems with switching from SMME to SMIE? Are there any additional fees for me?

Hello Bill,
In order to do this in SMIE, you would need to create two different inventory items. You can do this by creating one of the inventory items, then copy it and edit the description section of the copy. If you do decide to switch to SMIE and you run into any problems, just let us know. There are no additional fees for SMIE versus SMME.
