I deleted the option of offering credit cards directly because for some reason it confused people. I deleted the option in my account and the instructions on how to do it in one place, but left the directions in another area just in case people who knew how to read wanted to use this option
My question is: when I go to create a new inventory item the preview shows everything is correct, but when I choose an existing item and preview it the option for credit cards still appears under "payment methods". How do I delete it from existing inventory items?

Hi Ihula,
If you go to the Payment and Shipping tab (after you select the item to edit), you will see a link under Payment. Click on that and a pop up with your chosen payment methods will appear. Deselect 'direct offline cc processing' and click OK, then save your item changes. I hope this helps!
