This is my second attempt to receive an answer to this question. If you have auto launch profiles on your inventory items I understand that SMIE will "relist" an unsold item according to the profile. My question is does it matter if and/or when you delete the unsold item from the Post Sale (or Closed Auctions) Unsold Items list?

Hello datakyar,
Please accept our apologies for missing your previous post. I believe that the system is configured so that if you delete an unsold listing from closed, the inventory item will still continue the launch cycle but instead of relisting the deleted item, it would launch a new listing.
If you find the system is not behaving this way, please let us know. I'm not sure why you want to delete the unsold listing, but if you don't want to relist you should be able to set up a recurring listing profile that will leave relisting out of the equasion.

Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me. So let me get this straight. If I DO NOT delete the unsold item SMIE will relist it at the next scheduled launch. Then does SMIE make the unsold item disappear from the unsold item list in Post Sale? That's where I'm confused because Post Sale Unsold Items don't seem to go away. Am I just not waiting long enough or what?

In some cases, the unsold items will go away. When you relist something that is a true relist, meaning it will qualify for relisting credit, the copy in the closed section will dissapear once the item is relisted.
If the item in closed wouldnt qualify for relist credit, it will remain in the unsold items page even when a new listing based on this same item is submitted.
