I have been getting this error code for a couple of days now.

Error 10009: No <ItemId> exists or <ItemId> is specified as an empty tag.

* No <ItemId> exists or <ItemId> is specified as an empty tag in the XML request.

These items have launched in the past...what's wrong now?

Hello ihula,

The error message doesn't appear to apply to these listings at all and the master records in your account seem to be accepted by eBay in a test listing.

Please try resubmitting this batch of items and let us know if they come back in this error again.

Regards,
Christopher

I resubmitted them and received the same error.

Hi there,

I do see the errored listings in your account. I have done a little investigating, and I can't find anything obvious that would be the cause of the problem. I'll have to escalate this to our engineering group to see if they can do some diagnostics. We'll get back to you as soon as possible, and I apologize for the inconvenience.

Best regards,

Diana

Hi ihula,

I have heard back about this, and the problem is due to a bug that is scheduled to be fixed by tomorrow (Tuesday) morning. I am very sorry about the inconvenience. Please try again after 9 am PST tomorrow morning, and post back if you continue to have trouble.

Thanks,

Diana

Hi there - just wanted to let you know we did not release the fix for this bug yet. We are still doing some testing, and plan to release the fix tomorrow.

Sorry about that...

Any word on this? I have 96 auctions that have errored out and I would really like to get them on ebay.

Hi there,

I'm checking with engineering on this now, but you may be able to proceed by launching the listings from inventory rather than resubmitting the errored listings. Please try this and let us know if the new listings don't go through.

Thanks,

Diana
