I need to change some info in my store listings, but it can be done over time. At the end of an items 30 days and it goes to relaunch, does it pull the latest info from Inventory Edition, or does it just use the same old one again?

Simpler way to put it:

Items currently in store are version A

at the end of their 30 days and they relist, does Ebay pull the info from Inventory Edition and any changes made would take effect, essentially launching version B?

I hope that made sense

Hello Splashpage,

If you want to edit an eBay store item and have the changes show up the next time you list it, make the edits from the Inventory Page itself. That is, select the items and click edit, or click the Names to edit. If you make the edits from this edit page in Inventory, the changes will be reflected next time you launch the item from inventory.
(Don't make the edits from the Closed Listings page or relaunch from the closed listings page as if you do, the changes you made on the Inventory pages will not be reflected in the new listing.)

Best,
Abe

Well that did NOT work! I changed my store items long before they were due to launch and they are showing the old phone number. I did change them in the actual inventory, nowhere else. I have gone back to my items and looked at their descriptions and they show the new phone number.

So how can I make sure this info does get changed? Am I going to have edit each item on Ebay by hand? Why did the system not go through and pick up the changes? I wouldn't be so upset if I hadn't asked and been told all would be fine. Obviouslly it was not.

Hello,

Can you let us know the name of the item, and what tab did you edit? If it was the Inventory tab you edited your changes won't apply to items you list as that's for your own inventory purpose only.

Sonya

It was the "Description & Template" tab, entered "Description" and edited the HTML I have in there. If you are looking in my inventory it was EVERY item in the "Store" folder. None of them have lanched with the corrected description.

Hello,

I'm sorry we missed your post! I checked your account and I can't find a 'Stores' folder. Can you tell me the name of one of the items? We can check into it from there.

Regards,

Sonya

There is a folder called "Store" with several sub-folders such as "Anime Plush", "Capsule Toys", "Godzilla". A specific item name is "BANDAI MG GUNDAM QUBELEY MODEL MIP"

Hello,

The items are Good Til Cancelled which don't really close, which is why your changes to your inventory have not applied.

To get the items to take the new updates you will need to take them off the market. You can do this by ending them then listing them again (this will cause fees though). Or you can edit them directly on eBay and change the phone numbers there.

Regards,

Sonya
