The paypal integration is NOT working correctly for multiple item discounts. We have had several auctions that have closed that are billed the wrong amounts.

No less your paypal integration back -- marking that the item was payed isn't working either.

Please fix this since it is causing MANY problems!

Hello,

We are aware of an issue with the IPN service from PayPal and have a fix ready to go, which we hope to push live to the site shortly. (after some testing)

We will update this and the other threads on this issue when we know this is completed.

As for the discounts, there are some possible issues with applying discounts properly as well, but any examples you have of this we will be happy to check into for you while engineering works quickly to resolve these issues.

Vendio,

Here is an auction number (830604774) for you as an example of where it is broken. Our BIGGEST frustration is our auction winners are pissed!!!

When will this be fixed and HOW do we remove checkout from our existing auctions???

How much are you all crediting us for all these problems?

Credit is definately needed and not the measley amount you offered the last time vendio went dont on a friday. I pay you $500 a month.
I am trying to stick this out but it is becoming very hard. I am not getting my regular flow of payments
whats going on.
Also should I now shut checkout off.
I sell 250 items a week and customers are always complaining about it. What do you suggest.
I want my site running smooth and really trying to be calm, as I am feeling a bit upset over all the problems I have had with vendio since signing on over a year ago.
I suggest a week free of fees.
That is the least you can do to keep me on board.
I refuse to supply anymore item numbers as I have supplied many already
hope you guys get it figured out asap

Sorry for the delay in updating this particular post, but the paypal payments recording issue has since been corrected as of 8am this morning.

All payments you receive from that point forward will record properly in post sale.
(livingdreams - note you have a few that were posted today)

Chris,

Well I have now been told on 2 different instances that all is supposedly "fixed" -- what a load of BS!!!

It would be REALLY nice if you all could get multiple item discounts (for store items) going over to paypal correctly. Being in the development arena, I understand that you all have to "break it first" to fix it. It is VERY EASY to make it happen -- add a store item to any winning auction and notice that the "discount for multiple items" doesn't go accross.

PLEASE fix this ASAP since my customers are frustrated and I am VERY tired of with dealing with it!!!!

Yes, this should NOT be so horribly difficult to fix! When we offer a cents-off discount on upsell items during checkout, the discount is NOT included when amount is sent to paypal. FIX THIS ASAP PLEASE--This along with all the other errors and bugs in your new "improved" system are causing for many IRATE ebay customers. They should not have to go through this to give US their money, and we should not have to go through this either.

Hello,

Our apologies for the confusion. All (of our) previous mentions of the discount system that was being worked on was for orders/shipping - not for cross promotion on the stores.

There does appear to be an issue with cross promotion discounts as well and engineering has been notified and will work quickly to find a resolution.

It is STILL broken -- discounts on store items when combined with auctions won.

FYI, I have been in the internet web application world for the last 10 years and have build large scale systems for MCI, UPS, etc and you all seem to AWLAYS HAVE LOTS OF FRICKING PROBLEMS!!!

Well it has been over 2.5 weeks and this STILL IS BROKEN! How long does it take to solve a VERY reproducable bug?

Hello,


To clarify, this is for the issue where the 'promote more items' discount wasnt being applied and buyers that added specifically promoted items to their shopping carts were being charged the full amount.

As of 06/03, the fix for this issue was pushed live to the website. We had to finish testing for this bug as it related to the total being sent to paypal. This has been confirmed as being corrected, so checkout on items after 06/03 should be sending the correct total to paypal now.
