I want all my listings to be centered large print and in purple font. Is it possible to pre-set this so I don't have to manually do it each time?

Hello,

From the My Account page, click on the Custom Templates link, then on the 'Template Workshop' button. From here you can click to 'Edit Description Text' and change the default text/color options for the description area when your using any particular template.
Note that if you use the HTML editor when writing your description up - whatever you specify in the HTML editor will be used, but when you don't specifically define a font/color in the HTML editor then the template default will be used.

Just be sure to preview the first few items you list this way so you know that your default template options are appearing the way you intend.

Regards,
Chris

Got the color and the size font I want but I didn't see anything for centering it?

Hello,

Sorry for missing that part, but unfortunately centering the text as a default is not possible at this time using the template editor. You would need to select the text after typed and click the HTML editor to center it while creating your ads.

The only possible workaround would be to create an item to use as a template each time you list, so you can edit it as needed to match the product your listing. Try this - create a dummy item in your pending section with just all of the formatting setup already and some fake words in it. Scroll to the bottom of the page, click the box to save to inventory, then save it. Now pull up this item in inventory, edit it and check the 'profile item' box in the upper right corner of the screen and save it.

Now when you list an item from scratch and you get to the page where you pick your category, look at the top and change it from 'new listing' to the name of your profile item. Because of the need to edit some of the fake data you used to create the template this method may not save you any steps, but try it out to see if it would work for what you have in mind.

Regards,
Chris
