Was their a working group for Beta usage and testing? If so, was it properly implemented?
I am very concerned about the number of bugs, glitches, and not thought out items on the new platform. Many of us count on having a usable tool to make our ecommerce work. We can not wait for fixes that should have been fixed before mass distribution.
Example:
Bulk editor is a train wreck.
Bulk lauch tool is very weak and does not allow edits on condition without bulk editing category... which it does not do.
Sceen changes very slow... even with fast wireless speeds.
No search on closed sales for researching problems. I have to go thru every sale to find the one I am looking for.
PLease... I know this was a well intentioned effort, but I think, "We have a problem Houston!"
Id be happy to address any specific questions or issues you have ran into. As to the question you did ask above - yes, both the bulk editor tool and the migration process was tested before release. We knew there would be some issues with the migration process and are working to address them as quickly as they come up. Currently I think your listed issues are mostly about the bulk editor which we are putting a great deal of time and energy into addressing as it's a tool we want to be able to offer (as we spoke about on the phone, as it wasn't something you could do before) - we also realize the performance of this tool needs a great deal of improvement to remain. There is a lot of progress on these efforts happening on our end and we hope to address it on the live site as soon as possible.

THank you, Chris, for taking time to reply. I am torn between understanding your new product issues and trying to maintain my business on ebay. I appreciate your responsivness, and hope that the work comes easy to those who are making it happen.
