Has anyone successfully used the comparison shopping module? I have been struggling with the Google ad words comparison shopping module for about 3 months now. I have put in tickets, spoke on the phone with both Vendio & my Google ad words team.
I see issues with the Vendio module, for one its missing a price option, does it pull it from my site when its live?
Second thing is Vendio set me up with different ad word account then the one I sent them to use, which caused issues. I'm about to give up using Vendio comparison shopping and just create a feed myself.
Has anyone else had issues?

Hi,

Thank you for your time today. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. As discussed, we have claimed your URL for the Google Product Search account. Your items should now be listed to Google Products on the next product upload from Vendio.

Please do let us know if you have any questions/clarifications.

Regards,
Sunil

When I am on my Manage Items on Google Product Search page there are a lot of blank sections. Is there an FAQ on how to make sure your data will work with the Google feed?

The available areas are :
On market title
ISBN
UPC
Brand
Manufacturers part #

I sell books. So mine would have (On market title) which is the title of the book?
The ISBN, which I'm assuming is the books ISBN?
Then it asks for the UPC, which is blank, is that supposed to be filled in?
Brand, which I was told is the publisher of the book, most of mine are empty, then it asks for the Manufacturers part #, which I would assume is the ISBN again?

Is this how its supposed to be filled in? Should I manually fill in any blanks? How can I check to see if my feed is good?

Hi,

Thanks for writing in. Please note all the fields are not mandatory to be filled in. If you are selling books then only ISBN and the title is sufficient. UPC is applicable for other items like electronics etc. You can fill in this information in Vendio on Create items page while creating the item and the information will be automatically transferred over once the item is edited/saved.

Please do let us know if you have any questions/clarifications.

Regards,
Sunil

Finally got my Adwords up and running. Problem I'm having now is I started out with over 1000 products listed and every day it goes down. Yesterday it was down to 300, today its down to 130. Does this mean I only have 130 products showing up on Google? Do you guys have a Google adwords FAQ? Reading the Google site is not that helpful because we don't have total control over the feeds sent over. I can't ever figure out where Vendio is pulling the information from to fill the feeds. All I sell is books so its not a lot of info but I can't see what errors my feeds have so I don't know what to ever try to fix?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us. Vendio pulls up for Google Items from Vendio Store. You can manage the items for Google Products from your Vendio account, click on Channels >> Comparison Shopping page click on Distribute items link under Google Product search tab.

Google Product search page in Vendio displays only items listed to Vendio Store. Items added directly on Google Product will not show up in Vendio. Also, we will get back to you with instructions on how you can view errors so that you can monitor any errors on Google Product Search.
Regards,
Sunil
