I receive an error message each time I try to import a spreadsheet. The message:
# Error :The uploaded file doesn't seem to use a valid Vendio CSV format. Please make sure that your CSV file matches the Vendio spreadsheet template.
I contacted Vendio Chat Friday and Chris was able to take a line from my spreadsheet and upload the data. He said that there was nothing in the submissions to even show that I had tried to upload. Last night, I searched the sheet for errors, and saw that the end of the sheet had a few items without titles. I corrected that. Then I tried to upload. I received the error message. I then started with a fresh Vendio template and pasted only about 45 items worth of data to that spreadsheet. It seems to be in good order. I still got the error message. Just now, I decided that the problem might be that I was on wireless, so I plugged in the DSL line-- still nothing. In a matter of seconds the error message pops up. Any ideas where I went wrong? I have over 1000 items that I would like to load so that I can get my biz running again. I am on vacation hold at the moment.
In your Vendio account please go to "Help" (at the top right of the page) --> "Contact Us" --> "Email" --> click the "Contact Support" tab and fill out the short form. Please be sure to attach a copy of the file that you are trying to upload. We will attempt to upload the file and duplicate the problem in your account. Also let us know whether you want to use the "Default Example Policies" or "Returns" policy profile, and whether or not you want the imported items to be made available in your Vendio Store.
I just emailed the info again. I used Chat on Friday, and submitted email request last night. Please see if you can figure out what is wrong with my sheet so that I can make corrections as needed. Sent in both txt and csv.
