I am new to Vendio.
I tried to upload pictures from my computer, which were about 3Mb each. An erro r message came up, saying something like file size too large. I thought that while uploading, vendio will auto reduce to an acceptable image size. Can anybody help?
There is a 1MB file size limit for standard image uploads. You may resize your images as they are uploaded, but to do this you will need to use the XPress Image Publisher. Please note that you must be using either Windows XP or Windows Vista in order to use the XPress Image Publisher. You may download the program and find out more information about it here:

The install process goes really quickly, because your really just configuring a program that is already part of Windows so you can use it with Vendio - your not really installing the application itself.
Go to the next step and follow the directions to upload the images. You will know the install worked when you get to the page where it asks where you want to send your images - if you only see MSN groups, it didn't install right, but when you see the Vendio logo here - select that and click to continue to upload your pics.

it did not install.
IT DID NOT INSTALL.
HELLO
i cannot fathom how I can tell everyone and their brother it did not install, and you reply with this insulting reponse.
IT DID NOT INSTALL.
I tried at least five times to get it to install. I opened it, clicked install -- and I got an error message that it could not read somethign qand did not install.
i have the download, but not install. there is no install.
i am computer savvy plenty to know if it installed or not, there is no new software i would see it highlighted.
it did not install and i don't know why.
When you go and use the 'publish this folder to the web' option, do you see at least MSN groups like you see in this image?
Regardless if you installed this setup tool or not, you should be able to get to this point using what you have. If your not getting to this point, then you have not yet been able to confirm if you did or didn't install the XPress Publisher tool:
Or are you not getting to this point?
Regards,
Chris

Hi there ginaphototwo,
I just tried on my window XP, and everything turned out fine. I managed to get my images on the PC loaded to Vendio after having downloaded and installed.
One thing to note is that I clicked the link given by Nathan from the email sent to me and failed to link to the page, but when I copied/pasted in the task bar, all turned out smooth.
Just a suggestion - have your windows refresed/re-installed. The problem may be the publisher programme within your windows?
I am not computer savvy, however, just from the fact that you had problem from the same download, seems to suggest the above.

Hello
are you out of your mind?
why in the name of God would i uninstall and reinstall?
the problem is not my computer, and i would never risk losing my work, my software.
i can import software from a digital device, also a dvd, and extract a clip from it, and upload it to youtube. there is not a problem with my notebook.
i upload in bulk images to auctiva. it is not my notebook.
the software is not installing. this is the first time i have ever had this happen, and i have windows xp media edition and i do a lot with media.
please, never mind. this type of comments are not a help. i am getting an error message and evidently, no one knows what it refers to and the people who put out the software don't know how to support it and this forum is not the place to find help.
next you know i'll hear the old "clear your cache" standy by. never mind. I get it this server is overwhelmed by the migration i think.
