My product supplier has a way to export to turbolister, but it's a csv file, so I am attempting to copy & paste data into vendio's import template...the photo url's are from an https address...will that be allowed?
Also, does it matter if I take the column with the long item description and make it wrap within the cell? I was hoping that formatting would disappear when I copy and paste.
By the way, I'm using openoffice, which allows me to save as csv. I was going to see if that worked with your system, and if not, try saving it as a notepad csv. I can't afford excel right now, but might be able to get quickbooks. I saw in another thread Nathan recommended excel, but is that the only software that's compatible? I thought a csv file extension was all that's required?
While you should be able to use any .csv file, there are currently problems with some .csv files that were not created in Excel. Our engineers are working on correcting this, but in the meantime I don't have a specific list of which programs can be used to create the .csv files successfully (but Excel should work at this point, which is why it is recommended for now).
As far as I am aware you should be able to use the https address, and I don't believe that making the description wrap within the cell will make any difference. However, please let us know should you have any trouble with this.
