I have been pretty unhappy with Sales Manager Pro crashes ever since I got this new computer with 64-bit Windows7. And I have been told by you all that it probably just isn't ever going to work -- and that I should sign up with Vendio again as a new account. That's after eight or nine years as a Vendio customer. Arghh.
So I've been looking around. And I probably will be canceling my account.
But one thing I really do like about Vendio -- and don't find elsewhere -- is the post-sales automation. Has that changed in the new internet-based way of selling on eBay?
The post sale management system that you have been enjoying up until now is still available in the same account you have. Sales Manager Pro is just a stripped down basic version of the regular Sales Manager you have access to now. If you were to simply switch to listing from the regular Sales Manager on the Vendio website that you have access to now, you would retain all of the post sale management tools you have used up to now.
If you wanted to for other reasons, you could also open a new account and use the new/different platform instead. The layout is much different, but it also has automated post sale management tools available for it.

I think maybe we are talking past each other, or at least not understanding.
I do no want to sign up under a different account name, and I would love to continue to use my software version of SMP.
And I know that the post-sale automation with its clean and intuitive interface continues to be available to me in my current (old software) use of Vendio.
As I say, though, SMP crashes right and left when I try to post my ads. I have complained several times (and have seen other like complaints) and have been told that I can only resolve the issue by signing up for "the new platform" under a different name.
I don't want to do that. But if I did, would I have access to the existing post-sale interface with its handy little check boxes and all the rest?
Sorry for any confusion on my part, what I mean to say is that you do not have to sign up for a new account to continue using the post sale tools that you use now.
While the Sales Manager Pro offline software is an outdated program, the regular Sales Manager you have available to you in your account right now - does all the same things and still uses the same post sale tools your after.
Signing up for a new account doesn't change anything with Sales Manager Pro. There is no other version of Sales Manager Pro regardless of what system your on.
The Sales Manager system were referring to can be accessed from here. When you go there, click the eBay or eBay Motors icon in the upper left corner of the page, under the heading 'Create Listing' to get started.

Just to chime in here: I have SMP on my computer and still like to use it for uploading new items quickly. If you are still following this thread carguy323 post a reply. I may have some pointers for you.
