We've listened to your recent suggestions, and we are nearly finished coding the improvements and additions to your shipping, shipping insurance, sales tax options, and the Vendio Checkout system! Improvements to Shipping Options
We�ve added support for additional international shipping options and separated international shipping and insurance from US shipping options to make the organization of shipping easier for you and your buyers.
New Shipping Insurance Options
We've added support for separate domestic and international shipping insurance costs, either fixed or variable based upon your shipping carriers� specified rates.
New Sales Tax Options
If you choose to offer sales tax, our new controls will help you specify and automatically calculate sales tax for buyers from all states, without the need for buyers to manually enter their appropriate rates! Optional Tax Profiles and per item tax tables give added flexibility to change your tax requirements per item.
Improvements to the Buyer Checkout Process
We�ve completely redesigned the Checkout process to make it easier for buyers to purchase from you. By reducing the number of steps and the amount of information buyers need to enter, we have streamlined the Checkout process as much as possible. We�ve also integrated your shipping, insurance, and tax options into Vendio Checkout so buyers can quickly calculate the total cost based on their location!
All improvements to shipping, insurance, and tax options are available with Vendio Checkout, Checkout Redirect, and eBay Checkout, eliminating the need to enter this information more than once. We will also let buyers be �remembered� to avoid repeated entries of their address information on future purchases, tightening the integration with eBay to have eBay send buyer address information through Checkout Redirect, and improving cross-selling of Vendio Store items to maximize sales.We are excited to be able to release these great new service enhancements.
