We are aware of an issue that is causing items in certain categories (mainly Clothing, Shoes, and Accessories categories) to error on launch if there is a value provided in the older style "Item Specifics" fields, for any of eBay's soon-to-be-required Item Specifics (such as Size, Size Type, Style, Brand, Color, etc...). Please refer to eBay's look-up table of required Item Specifics which will go into effect in these categories on July 20: http://pages.ebay.com/sellerinformation/increaseyoursales/csalookup.html.

We have been working with eBay to identify the cause of the issue, and they are aware of the problem. Unfortunately, at this time no ETA for a fix has been provided, but in the meantime, you should be able to work around the issue by editing the affected listings and moving the data from the old style "Item Specifics" fields to "Custom Item Specifics."

Please note that you must completely remove the values from the soon-to-be-required fields (listed in eBay's look-up table) in the older Item Specifics section to eliminate the error.

We are encouraging eBay to resolve this shortly, but please do be aware that eBay will begin enforcing the required Item Specifics fields and new format of Item Specifics on July 20. On that date, items without the required Custom Item Specifics will fail to launch. Please be sure to set up your Custom Item Specifics in advance of this date to minimize disruption!
