This is a mint condition Cow Parade cow, Babe in Toyland which comes from the London group of the original large sculpture cows that spread across the country after their debut in Chicago in 1999. The original artist for Babe in Toyland was Candida Bayer. This cow was sponsored by Cow Parade. Babe in Toyland is now retired and only available on the secondary market. It is about 6" long and 4" high and is covered with toys including a teddy bear. Babe in Toyland was a London first release. Add Babe in Toyland to your Cow Parade collection! Or it makes a fun gift for the holidays for the person you know who still plays with toys. Comes complete in original box with original tag, though the tag is creased as it was packed under the cow when I purchased it.
Babe in Toyland has been in a glass curio case since purchase. The box is in excellent condition with minor rubs on the top from storage. I hate to part with it, but space needs as well as replacing income due to unemployment have mean some difficult choices. Internet research also shows other site listings wanting $50 for this particular retired Cow Parade figure. Babe in Toyland is looking for a good home who will enjoy the message of keeping in touch with your inner child.
