Excellent condition Schmid Hummel reproduction ornament that looks like the Hummel Trumpet Boy. Produced in 1983, this was the first edition. The base reads "A reproduction by SCHMID of a statuette designed by Berta Hummel." With careful inspection, I find no chips, cracks, or crazing on this ornament. It stands 4 1/4" tall and the base is 1 7/8" in diameter. It has all the characteristics of its more expensive Hummel counterpart, right down to the matte glaze and wonderful earthy colors of this figurine. Has a gold string for hanging.
