You are considering a lovely print of two cranes, in a distinctive Asian style print. It is framed and will ship framed, at 15 1/2" x 12 1/2" in size. Print and Frame are in mint condition. This used to hang in my office. The Legends of the Cranes on the back tells of Crane symbolism in various cultures, including China where Cranes were believed to be symbols of wisdom -- the messengers of legendary sages who were carried on their backs in flight between heavenly worlds. They believed pure white cranes, as are depicted in the print, were sacred birds which inhabited the Isles of the Blessed. Cranes have also been associated with vigilance and loyalty, and heralds of Spring. "I will write peace on your wings and you will fly all over the world. This is our cry. This is our prayer. Peace in the world." This is a quality print that would look wonderful in a room or home with Asian decor. It has not been displayed for the past two years as my jobs have been work at home (and right now my income is eBay due to unemployment). This should be where it can be enjoyed, not stored in a basement.
