Air is pulled in 360 degrees around the unit. After being pulled through the sealed, 5 stage filtration, the air exits through the top of the unit. On the highest setting, the motor uses only a little more power than a standard light bulb. The motor and the steel housing are covered by a 5 year mechanical warranty.
