BEAUTIFUL FINISH!
1977 Les Paul Standard Gibson Electric Guitar - MADE IN THE USA!
Gibson Deluxe Kluson Tuners, Original Case, Strap, and what I believe to be the first set of strings (used, no collectors card). AS far as I know EVERYTHING is original, except maybe the rear pickup as someone told me that Gibson NEVER mixed the pickups. I am the 2nd owner and the guy I bought it from was a guitar tech for the band Chicago from 75-81, he stated that everything is original and no mods were made but again NOT SURE about that rear pickup. Serial# is 72827535. By the serial number I have found that it was built on Oct 8, 1977 at the Nashville, TN plant. Which is cool because I live about 10 miles from the plant! The serial# is very light on the back but you can see it in the photo.
Deep Wine Red Finish, typical wear on the finish for a vintage guitar of this age. Some buckle rash on the back, few nick's in the lacquer here and there but nothing major, and no deep gashes or scratches, not a lot of paint wear. Case and strap are worn and smell of old age. Mahogany neck is a standard for this year but I am not sure. I welcome ANY INFO any one has on this guitar!
