Rare Rosenthal Dancer 

designed in 1913 by Erna Freifrau Von Lagenmantel-Reitzenstein, 

who was born in Stuttgart, Germany in 1890. 

She was the daughter of painter Ludwig Von Hertrich. 

This was one of three somewhat similar Rosenthal figurines. 

The Rosenthal mark shows that this one was created in the Art Department (Konstabteilung) and was made in Selb, Bavaria, Germany at the Rosenthal factory. 

This very rare mark shows that it was made in the US Zone. 

The US Zone existed from 1945-1954. 

 It is model 207/I. The word Handgemalt indicates hand-painted (glazed).
