This is a truly beautiful piece of Satsuma decorated in the Art Nouveau style
It dates from early 20th century when it was popular for artists to import blank
Satsuma ware and decorate it.
The top is raised enamel decoration of purple flowers, butterflies,
gold work, and leaves. The bottom piece is decorated as well.
It is signed by the artist " O'Brian" and contains an impressed mark "Japan"
Size - It is 5-5/8 inches in diameter and almost 3 inches high.
