Beautiful Antique Chinese Hand Mirror - c. 19th Century
in l fitted box with cover

This is a unique item because it is still in the original box that was made for it
The mirror is heavy bronze with parts polished out to look silver
The back of the mirror is relief work of a thatched cottage
set among flowers.  There are two large  marks on top of the scen
At the right are the six character marks
The handle is wrapped in rattan The mirror surface is silvered but some areas
are worn to the bronze.
The box is in good condition except slightly loose at the bottom
Size - 6-5/8 inches diameter of mirror
10 inches long - mirror with handle
Box is slightly larger
