Super nice Japanese Imari celadon vase.
The bulbous bottom part is light green celadon
with mainly pink raised flower designs with painted gold leaves.  
This narrows down to a straight globular part
 that has white background with beautiful
blue paintings of flowers and bushes on
two sides of vase.  In between these
paintings are raised designs depicting handles.
the vase is  8-1/2 inches high
4 inches at widest
3 -1/2 inches at base
It is signed with a painted on mark on an open book.  There are also Kanji marks that
are impressed but very hard to read.
It is in excellent condition and has been in my own
collection for about 30 years.
