Lovely antique oil painting on artist board featuring a lovely landscape scene. Could be American but not sure. White cap mountains in the background, lush green trees along the banks of the river, small white sailboat, rocky shores etc. The gold frame measures 13.5" wide by 15.5" tall. The artist board is 9.5" by 13". The gold frame has extensive gesso decorated trim, entire bottom, top and right hand side. The board has a small gash or tear on the right hand side mid section running from side to the tall tree plus some other chippy spots on the very edges of the painting. See images. Not a tight fit in the frame either.  Gorgeous moody landscape artwork.
