Fabulous antique oil painting on canvas featuring a stately gentleman seated with eyeglasses in his hand, a stern look and a black coat with black old style tie. He has sideburns, a few wrinkles, blue green shaded eyes and a kind smile. The background is dark and moody. Red curtain is situated on his right side with a metal curtain tie. I have the female portrait as well listed separately.  Measures 26.75" tall by 24.5" wide. Damage includes lots of paint wear, streak on his face right side, few small holes and the canvas is almost entirely detached from the wood frame. Probably was in a larger frame that left behind damage and wear as shown. Needs some TLC but it's a great old oil painting!
