Vintage framed print entitled Amaryllis Brasiliensis. The original artwork is from the collecton Les Liliacees by French artist Pierre Joseph Redoute. This is a vibrant depiction of the amaryllis flower known for its large trumpet shaped blooms. This is plate 86 although not visible on this print due to matting. The wood frame measures 28" tall by 21.5" wide. The print itself is 10" by 15.5" tall.  The frame has some loss of gold on the outer edges from age and handling. The print itself is in good clean condition as it is protected under glass. No rips, tears etc. The very bottom white portion of the matting shows damage, foxing and perhaps minor water damage. Please see images. Could probably be cleaned if print is removed etc.
