No signature but I purchased this along with other identified Kazo Kato artwork locally. The other Kazo Kato I have is called Retro Street and clearly this is same artist. Nicely framed and matted. This features a Chinese seaside village or town with a market shopping district along the sea. There are fishing boats in the background on the blue sea. Tall buildings and smaller buildings with the center of focus on the market street with umbrellas, store names etc. It's interesting b/c it is a mix of American names such as Stanly and Kwongkee Shoe Shop. The features of the market goers are hard to decipher and darkened out except for a female with long blonde hair pushing a carriage. Unique watercolor painting. The frame is 17.75 wide and 21.5" tall. The artwork is 11.5" by 15.25". Nice colors. Unique artwork. Very good condition with no damage to the artwork. Silver frame is in good condition too with just a small amount of wear and some red showing through here and there.
