Vintage or older print by Richard John Lunt Roberts (1894-1981), a famous British Illustrator and cartoonist known for his works in books, magazines and official wartime recruitment. He served as President of the London Sketch Club and is celebrated for illustrating numerous classic stories throughout the mid-20th century. The frame measures 16.5" by 14.5" tall. The artwork is 10.5" by 9.25 within the matting. The frame is very beat up with loss of silver trim, significant chips in the wood. The artwork is clean and protected under glass. Really lovely scene and worth reframing if desired.
