Lovely still life oil painting on stretched canvas. Framed with lightly carved gold wood frame. Frame measures 26" length by 18" tall. The canvas measures 23" length by 15" tall. Moody dark background with brighter fruit in the foreground, oranges, apples, pear set with their greens leaves, single glass and jug for water or wine.  Background is almost a blue green shade with variations in depth. Signed bottom right hand corner W. Lode.  There is a rip in the canvas bottom off center to the left section through the halved apple section, minor damage above the wine glass looks to be a pointed impression with small scratch line. Frame has some minor scratches and gold wear here and there.
