Fabulous vintage pressed glass covered cheese or butter dish with dome lid.  The pattern is Loops and Drapes. The under plate is 8" wide with 4.5" raised insert rim. The dome lid is 6" tall or 7" when set in place on the plate. The gold trim is almost all worn off. Just a few remnants remain in place. See photos. I love it clear as is. No chips or cracks.  I believe it is US Glass.
