Stunning, rare pair of pink Bristol glass lamps mounted on music box. Opaque, pale pink with gorgeous enameled floral pattern on their fronts featuring uniquely colored flowers, leaves and petals. The Lamps are set on a gold decorated metal base with intricate etched pattern and cutwork on the base that is scalloped. The bases contain music boxes! I thought it was just an old switch for perhaps a light on the interior base but one plays music very briefly, like 3 notes and the other key is over wound.  The tops of each lamp have a lovely intricate filigree or gold metal cutwork pattern of flowers and Fleur Di lis cuttings.  The bases are scalloped as well with a wonderful design. I am assuming these were hand made and perhaps from old bases but how amazing that they incorporated music boxes in the bases!  The height of the lamps is 29.5" tall to the top of the harps. The harps cannot be removed as they are mingled in the socket base and hardware. The height to the top of the socket is 18.5". The bases are 6" diameter and the widest section of the glass section is about 5" wide. No chips, no cracks. no loss of paint wear. One music box is overwound and the other only plays momentarily.  I just held it on an angle and it plays longer but I do not know the song.  Some minor gold wear on the base or  possible touch up work. The original base on/off knobs has one missing knob. Amazing pair of lamps!
