Part of a large inkwell collection I recently purchased. This one features a brown and white Staffordshire dog seated on a quilted tufted pink porcelain couch.  This is a double inkwell with both chambers present. The couch measures 6" length by 3.5" tall and 3.5" deep.  There is significant damage including paste repair to right front leg and portion of left front leg. The lid also has a hairline crack running under the dog towards back of cushion. It is an old thin hairline crack not in jeopardy of worsening. The piece looks to be partially hand painted, not sure original vs touch ups in gold. No mfg marking. Truly a unique inkwell!
