Lovely antique brown and white wide rim soup transferware bowl. The bowl features a scene titled Castle Gandolfo and it is also marked Italy. Made in Staffordshire UK by Cork Edge & Malkin. The bowl measures 9.5" wide by 1.75" rim height. I purchased this bowl in Sorrento Italy.  Features castle in the background with female riding a donkey being lead by young boy while an adult male stands by. There is an old hairline crack on rim running inward about 2" to 3". There is also brown crazing on the back and some on front view as well. Antique dating from mid 1800s. Stunning!
