Fabulous blue onion, most likely Meissen made although not marked pestle, muddler or meat tenderizer. Round ball porcelain top with long wood handle.  The overall length is 11". The end of wood has a wire wrapped around it for hanging (a new wire). Damage includes large chip on bottom of pestle wear it meets the wood handle. See images. Gorgeous old piece!
