Very unusual, rare porcelain vintage or older double inkwell with an intricate lid featuring farm animals. Chickens, hens, small rabbit and birds all drinking from a small bowl or feeder.  There is a fence in the background and porcelain grass or hay under the feet of the animals. The Base features double loop handles with 2 empty inkwell chambers. Missing the small inkwells. Beautiful gold and blue trim on the base. There are no markings but probably European, perhaps Austrian. Damage includes the repair of the back fence on the lid in 3 places, small rabbit is missing both ears, chickens are missing some red finish on their heads and beaks. The base is in good condition with no damage except for the missing inkwell cups.  Super unusual and rare. Part of lager inkwell collection I recently purchased. Measures 7"wide by 5.5" tall and rim is 5" by 3.75". Porcelain cup holes are 1" wide.
