Lovely vintage or older wine coaster made of silverplate with a wood, walnut bottom center.  6" wide overall and inner rim is 4" wide.  Also marked England. May be Barker Ellis. Designed to hold a wine bottle and protect table linens and surfaces from condensation and drips. Good condition overall with no dings or dents. Wood is worn, would probably come up nicely with polishing or treating wood.
