Gorgeous silverplate egg coddler stand! This egg coddler has a flip top lid that releases when chain and pin are taken out. The top of the dome lid has a pretty fancy etched pattern. The legs of the stand are bark with textured finish, even showing tree knots. The feet are claw like. The mark represents Fenton Brothers Ltd., Sheffield England. Information regarding the piece was tucked inside the coddler when I purchased at auction.   Pattern is Fern Fever of the Victorian era. Suspended on the bottom is a burner to keep the eggs warm. The burner is included and shown in first image. The beige colored knob is detached from the movable dome but we have the piece to send to you. I think it is just missing a small washer to hold it in place. Overall, very good clean condition. No dings, dents, silverplate loss etc. Stand 7" tall by 7.5" wide.
