Gorgeous 18 volume set of 1929 copyrighted literature books.  The Columbia University Course in Literature. Binding has gold lettering and the front cover has the Columbia University Press emblem or seal embossed in gold as well. The books are a deep red hardcover with a chain of traditional leaves and berries. Each books is 8.75" tall by 6" wide. Copyright 1929. Each has colored illustration near title pages of each books. Handwriting on front cover of one book that was for sale in antique store. Inside front and back cover is the scene of the female drinking from a cup while a young child sits near by. The books are in very good condition overall. Top of 2 shows white marks, bindings are very good. Some very minor wear to top binding section of a few books. See images up close.
