Antique hand made wooden box with double metal handles on either side, flip top lid with insert for top layer storage, key hole and dovetail seems on all 4 sides. The box is hinged and when lid is open it does not fall backwards but stands upright. The box is 14" length by 10" wide and 9" tall. The insert appears to be newer and hand made. Gently needs to be removed as it sticks a bit. Inside does have a slight smell as well. There are natural marks and wear on the lid and a small chunk on the back left lid section. Really nicely made, love the dovetail corners and beveled lid.
