Wonderful, old, chippy hanging scan with large pan. The scale face is marked John Chatillon & Sons who mfg scales starting in 1853 through to the early 20th C. This is quite a large scale with the pan measuring 20.5" by 14" wide and 3.5" deep. The scale face and hanging mechanism measures 10.5" tall by 7" wide. As shown condition. This is great for front porch or garden decor. It does hang with the 3 strands of chain hanging on the pan. Just need to connect the scale with it's existing hook. As shown with all original wear and patina. Charming.
