Hand carved wood water buffalo figure with a Chinese male rider. 7" length by 6.5" tall and 2.5" wide. The carving is quite intricate with the water buffalo with mouth open and head lowered. The male figure might have been holding an item in his hands but there is nothing in that clasped hand area now.  There is no marking or signature. There is a slight crack in the wood on the buffaloes mid belly section. See photos. Unique piece.
