Gorgeous lacquered open box with double handles. The exterior is lacquered in a gold shade with brass handles on 2 sides. All four sides are decorated with flower pattern and front and back feature a blue bird approaching a carnation bush.  The box is 12" by 12" wide at top by 11" tall. Graduating to a smaller base 9.5" square. Vintage in age, no makers information.  There is some wear to the black rim with marks and missing black finish here and there. One small gold section appears to have been touched up as well. Great for storage of magazines, newspapers, even kindling wood would work here. Trash can etc.
