Vintage or older signed made in Japan lacquered box in a wood tone with decorative reticulated brass corners on base and lid.  There is a Japanese symbol in the front center and back of box and a carved dragon on the lid with appears to be an inlaid material. Most is worn off.  Box measures 4 3/8"length by 2.5" deep and 3" tall.  Holds two sets of cards. As shown.  Lid on one side shows some finish removed revealing lighter beige tones.  See photos.
