The American Cyclopedia: A Popular Dictionary of General Knowledge. Edited by George Ripley and Charles A. Dana. Volumes 1 through 15. First Volume Dated 1873. Last volume dated 1876.  Each book is 10" tall  by 7" wide. These are 1/4 leather bound at their spine as well as all 4 corners front and back. Interior front and back pages feature a colorful marble pattern which is also found on the closed book end pages, as well as to and bottom. Overall, good condition with little to no damage. Pages are good with no dog ears, rips etc. There are age spots on some front pages. Volume 9 has the worse condition at the binding with missing leather sections. Volumes 11, 12 have minor damage at top edge of binding and 13 has more significant loss at binding top. See images. Minor wear top top edges of front and back covers. Very minor considering there age.
