The Map House Engraving Inigo Jones Architectural Vitruvius Britannicus Pg36 37
Copper engraving, I believe matted and under glass antique print by Inigo Jones Architect but also center marked H Flitcroft. The building is the map house. Gold wood frame measures 23" by 26" tall and the print is 15" by 15.25". There is a slight crease in the center depicting its removal or origin from a book, Vitruvius Britannicus. Upper corners read P 36 P 37. Scale at bottom shows up to 50'. Good clean condition under glass with the crease down the center as mentions. The gold frame was regilded by us as it was chippy and uneven. New finish as shown. The Frame is signed Made in Italy. Gorgeous!
