Antique French Empire Glass Column Table Lamp Corinthian Hinks & Sons Patent
Gorgeous large, tall, heavy glass and gold tone metal lamp. Found this beauty at auction. Top upper casement is signed Hinks & Son Patent. 28" tall to top of center torchier bulb socket and base is 8" wide. Converted oil lamp. Gorgeous pressed glass styled top, base and column with a Corinthian leaf design on the bottom near base. The lamp has it's original cloth covered wiring. Should be replaced, being sold as is for you to refurbish. There is a chip in the smaller glass section that meets the upper large glass section, about the size of a thumb. This small glass section also is not secure and it is moveable in a circular motion so ok to set the chip towards back of placement. Some small chips on the glass base that sits on the gold metal base, hard to see, some are sliver, some are chips. Stunning lamp!
