* CLARENCE SINCLAIR BULL ~ 1896 - 1979: Clarence was one of the great portrait photographers who worked for the movie studios during the Golden Age of Hollywood. He was head of the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer ~ MGM Stills Department for forty years. Along with photographer George Hurrell, they virtually invented celebrity portraiture capturing rare artistry with a breathtaking roster of stars in brilliant and often magical ways. His dream like photographs became the essential look of a star, setting standards of the inner soulful beauty of the male and female even To This Day! Bull's days at MGM included 200 of his enduring portraits of such legendary film stars as Clark Gable, Joan Crawford, Katharine Hepburn, Hedy Lamarr, Gary Cooper, Elizabeth Taylor, Vivian Leigh, Spencer Tracy, Ava Gardner, Grace Kelly, Greta Garbo and of course Joyce Murray and many more...
* JOYCE MURRAY: ~ 1911 - Passing Date Unknown: Joyce was an early Silent Screen, later Talkie Film Actress and 1920s Flapper Dancer who appeared in 4 films: The Hollywood Revue of 1929, The Broadway Melody 1929, College Rhythm 1934 and I Dood It 1943.
GELATIN SILVER BLACK & WHITE PHOTOS: This photo is an original vintage Gelatin Silver B&W. The images on B&W photos are made by the oxidation of silver grains suspended in a gelatin mix that makes up the paper emulsion. Hence the name Gelatin Silver. Gelatin Silver printing was the dominant photographic process from the period of their introduction in the 1880s until the 1960s. If the photo is an original GS B&W then it's a true VTG photograph.

PACKING METHODS:
We pack all items in proper shipping boxes and mailing envelopes. There are many sellers that cause the damage themselves either directly or indirectly. It is very important to us that our buyers receive all items undamaged. We would rather overprotect because we know what can happen. We use thick cardboard to protect flat paper items from damage. If it is a larger item we use bubble wrap. Once an item is protected, we pack using properly sized mailers or envelopes for flat paper items and properly sized boxes with plenty of peanuts for larger items.
